It should go without saying that change is unpreventable. Our lives are in constantly evolving from the moment we are born. We evolve physically, mentally, and spiritually as we progress through the stages that shape who we are today. And, most of us consider ourselves to be resilient in the face of change, as well as exceptionally welcoming when the change benefits us. All of this being said, what happens when the speed of progress becomes too rapid, overwhelming, or unimaginable? How do we deal with change that shakes the foundations of our current way of life and doing business?

Why is "adaptability" so important in dealing with a catastrophic change?
People who can adjust to change quickly are more likely to succeed than those who cannot. Adaptability, or the ability to change to fit new circumstances, enables these people to keep moving forward in the midst of chaos. They are adept at reinventing themselves in order to convert transformation into new opportunities for success.
What can you do to gain an advantage during a crisis?
Begin with the following strategies:
▪️ Examine the change and its impact on your way of life.
Especially when the change is the result of a significant disaster, such as a flood, wildfire, earthquake, or pandemic, rely on your analytical skills to better understand its direct impact on your and your loved ones' safety and financial well-being. Let go of the "what ifs," "what could have been," and "why me?"
